What is Jump’n Jig?
Jump’n Jig has been designed to help pre-schoolers develop coordination, self-esteem and social skills through Irish dance, music and play. The program was developed by Fiona Holmes, a qualified teacher and adjudicator with the CLRG and also a qualified and registered school teacher. Classes provide pre-schoolers with the fundamental basics of Irish Dancing through the use of popular nursery rhymes, Irish music, the use of props, color and plenty of fun. The program is divided into three levels, to ensure classes can be modified for children of different ages and gross motor skills.
